We're seeking a System Administrator with a strong Linux and Kubernetes background to maintain system stability, optimize performance, and enhance security across our infrastructure. You will support critical applications, drive automation, and contribute to CI/CD pipeline development. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, observability, and operational excellence in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and support Linux systems (mainly EL based distributions), ensuring stability, performance, and security.
Manage and support applications running on top of Linux systems.
Maintain and support Kubernetes clusters.
Take part in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient and reliable deployment of internal applications.
Create automation scripts and tools using PowerShell and/or Python to streamline operational tasks and reduce manual workload.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and monitoring of new features and services.
Participate in structured incident and change management workflows, ideally following ITIL best practices.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years experience in a similar role,
Hands-on experience managing Linux systems
Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters
Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g Ansible, Puppet, Saltstack)
Practical knowledge of PowerShell and/or Python for automation and scripting,
Advanced command of English,
Optional) Experience working with Azure DevOps pipelines, including implementation, debugging, and optimization
(Optional) Understanding of ITIL processes or structured incident/change management workflows
(Optional) Experience working with hypervisors (VMware, Nutanix, Proxmox)
(Optional) Experience working with SAN storage solutions (EMC, Pure Storage, HPE)
(Optional) Experience working with physical servers (Cisco UCS, Dell, HPE, SuperMicro)
