The project involves transferring dedicated servers (applications) to the cloud (AWS). The ideal candidate should be able to validate the operation of services, their configuration, testing, and ongoing monitoring. Particular emphasis is placed on skills related to launching applications and integrating all necessary components.

The project involves telemetry in the broadest sense. The client currently has approximately 300 Data Centers worldwide from which they collect data: temperature, humidity, and input/output. The throughput is high—about 5 million messages on Kafka per minute. They perform data enrichment, and the data is sent to clients. They maintain approximately 2,000 machines. The project involves migrating part of this infrastructure (1,000 different components) to the AWS cloud. These are Java, Flink, Spark, and Kafka services, as well as databases: Cassandra, Postgres, Oracle, and MongoDB. The project involves writing, testing, validating, and reconfiguring existing services so they run on AWS. The infrastructure is already set up on AWS, and the team needs to verify that everything works properly after the migration.

Project stack:

• In addition to Java/AWS, they use k8s, microservices, Shell/Linux, Kafka, Flink/Storm/Spark, and databases such as Cassandra, Postgres, Oracle, and MongoDB.

• Knowledge of DevOps is a plus
