Azure Cloud Engineer

Our Client is an international organization operating within a large capital group, active in European markets and overseeing its foreign subsidiaries. The company provides business, legal, and IT consulting services supporting its international operations across several countries.

The project focuses on the maintenance and support of Azure-based cloud infrastructure and Microsoft 365 services in a multinational environment.

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and supporting cloud infrastructure in a dynamic international setting.

WORK MODE: 100% remote

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Maintaining and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure components, including Virtual Machines (Linux/Windows), Azure Container Apps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, Azure Monitor, Application Gateway + WAF, Entra ID, and related services.

• Managing and supporting Microsoft 365 (M365) services such as SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Intune, Autopilot, and Windows 365.

• Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for operational and project needs.

• Automating infrastructure provisioning using Azure Bicep (Infrastructure as Code – IaC) and scripting with PowerShell / Bash / Python.

• Monitoring system performance and ensuring reliability using tools such as Zabbix and Azure monitoring services.

• Implementing security best practices, including hardening of Windows and Linux servers, managing access through Microsoft Entra (RBAC), and supporting security processes.

• Providing technical support to internal teams, including scheduled after-hours tasks when required.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role with strong exposure to Microsoft Azure.

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure Bicep or similar tools.

• Solid knowledge of Azure services, networking (VNET, NSG, VPN), identity management, and security best practices.

• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

• Experience with monitoring solutions, preferably Zabbix.

• Very good command of English (B2/C1) due to the international nature of the organization.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Azure Container Apps and microservices environments.

• Experience with Azure Databricks.

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
