Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Content Management System, App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, and UI Builder

• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions aligned with platform best practices

• Design and implement workflows, business rules, client/server-side scripts, and integrations

• Optimize UI performance and enhance user experience across applications

• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior developers

• Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing

• Actively participate in transformation initiatives by proposing innovative solutions

Requirements

• 3–4 years of ServiceNow development experience, including 2+ years with App Engine and UI Builder

• Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow scripting components

• Experience with Service Portal, Workspace, and Now Experience UI Framework

• Familiarity with CSM, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and SPM modules

• Experience using AI/GenAI tools to enhance development workflows

• Strong UX/UI design sensitivity and performance optimization skills

• Agile/Scrum or SAFe methodology experience• Excellent communication, leadership, and client engagement skills

• Ability to quantify impact (e.g., performance gains, efficiency improvements)

• Certifications (nice to have): ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), CSM or App Engine
