Hosting Service Owner
Location: 100% remote work
Salary: 130 – 145 PLN net/h (B2B via Experis)
Responsibilities:
• Working with the Head of IT Infrastructure to manage, build and leverage strategic relationships with key third-party suppliers.
• Management of nearshore and offshore teams.
• Working with the Head of IT Infrastructure to ensure effective management of third party outsource agreements ensuring performance, quality, reliability and cost effectiveness.
• Ensuring Hosting services meet SLA targets and expectations.
• Maintenance and forecasting of operational expenditure; supporting recharge of services to internal customers in line with service needs.
• Contributing and adhering to appropriate technical governance processes to ensure compliance with all IT policies and frameworks.
• Attending Change Approval Board meetings to ensure governance and alignment.
• Delivery, maintenance and review of internal technical processes and procedures for the hosting service.
• Supporting optimisation and consolidation of technologies, services and suppliers on a regional and global basis as appropriate.
• Ensuring appropriate technical oversight and governance is applied to the Cloud & Server estate.
• Working with Application, local IT Engineering and other Operations teams to drive consistency in process, governance and tooling across teams.
• Overseeing transition to IT Operations for any implementation and execution of Service Delivery.
• Partnering with architecture and PMO functions to ensure technology can be operationally supported, including gap analysis of contractual statements of work.
• Driving rationalisation and associated cost savings while maintaining operational stability.
• Working within and managing the ITIL processes within the Hosting Service.
• Management of IT Software and Asset management tools used by the Hosting Service.
• Advising and guiding vendor management during contract renewals, changes, supplier benchmarking, validation of quotes and purchases.
• Running Service Reviews with Vendor Management to ensure contract SLA compliance, focusing on partnership and continual service improvement.
• Acting as owner of disaster recovery, service availability and capacity planning for the Hosting Service.
• Working with the Operational Readiness team to validate and accept technical change delivery from Portfolio Management.
Additional responsibilities:
• Acting as point of escalation for Hosting Services Operation.
• Performing any other reasonable duties aligned to the role.
Requirements:
• Previous experience in IT Operations.
• Budgetary experience and demonstrable commercial awareness.
• Experience with FinOps and Cloud Technology deployments and roadmaps.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proven knowledge and experience with tools, technologies and methods relevant to Global Service Delivery.
• Excellent IT people management skills; experience managing teams across multiple locations.
• Ability to manage key relationships with internal IS and business stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills to translate detailed technical information into service related language.
• Engaging, articulate, and capable of influencing Global IT and business stakeholders.
• Willingness to undertake international business travel.
