Summary: The primary role of the ServiceNow Administrator is to ensure the stability, usability, and security of the ServiceNow platform while providing support for incidents and requests. This role is vital for maintaining effective IT service management and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
Assuring platform availability, security, and stability.
Providing support for incidents and requests related to the ServiceNow application.
Contributing to ServiceNow software releases.
Executing common configuration and maintenance tasks.
Managing and resolving incidents and requests submitted by users.
Performing routine maintenance including performance monitoring and error identification.
Maintaining ServiceNow instances for availability, consistency, and security.
Applying patches, upgrades, and changes in a structured manner.
Managing the creation of update sets and migration.
Supporting instance cloning.
Creating and maintaining platform documentation.
Supporting testing activities.
Actively participating in SCRUM events (e.g., stand-up meetings, planning sessions).
Providing technical advice to the Product Owner regarding business requirements.
Key Requirements:
Minimum three years of experience in ServiceNow as a consultant, administrator, or developer.
Practical knowledge of ITSM and CSM functionalities within ServiceNow.
General knowledge of ServiceNow integration techniques (REST, SOAP, MID Server) and third-party tools (LDAP, SSO).
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Self-driven with a focus on improvement and customer satisfaction.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
Proficiency in JavaScript and basic web technologies (HTML/CSS).
Exposure to automation or AI-related platform features.
