Job Title: IT Support Consultant – On-Site (Workplace & Infrastructure Support)

Location: Dubai, UAE (On-site)
Engagement Type: Consultant (Employment Contract)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Consultant to provide hands-on workplace and infrastructure support at our Dubai office. This role will serve as the primary on-site IT presence, delivering first-line and physical technical support while working closely with Tech teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on end-user workplace support for laptops, thin clients, and peripherals

• Perform hardware-related activities including cabling, device delivery, setup, imaging, resets, and replacements

• Manage and maintain local IT stock, storage, and asset tracking to ensure accuracy and availability

• Act as on-site support for the technical room, providing basic server and networking assistance under guidance from remote teams

• Coordinate with global Tech teams for issue escalation, resolution, and system integration

• Troubleshoot and resolve first-level hardware, software, and connectivity issues

• Manage end-to-end hardware incident resolution in coordination with Lenovo

• Support password and security-related matters (e.g., BitLocker, BIOS)

• Handle incident management for software and network-related issues

• Assist with software packaging activities (AVC / AMC)

• Support services including SD-WAN, WiFi, LAN, and video conferencing during outages, upgrades, and refresh activities

• Support IT onboarding activities, including license and service activation when self-service processes fail

Candidate Profile

Must-Have Skills

• Solid experience in end-user hardware and software support

• Basic understanding of server and networking environments

• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues

• Proven experience managing local IT hardware stock and asset tracking

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with software packaging processes

• Exposure to SD-WAN and enterprise connectivity services

• Familiarity with security and password management tools such as BitLocker
