IT Workplace & Infrastructure Consultant - Qatar
Summary
The role primarily focuses on providing hands-on technical support for workplace technology used by end-users in an office environment, facilitating the smooth operation of IT services within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on support for end-user workplace technology, including laptops, thin clients, and peripherals.
Perform hardware tasks such as cabling, device delivery, setup, imaging, and resets.
Manage local stock and coordinate storage activities, aiming for accurate asset tracking and availability.
Act as onsite support for the technical room, including basic server and networking assistance under remote team guidance.
Coordinate with global AZ Tech teams for seamless integration and issue escalation.
Troubleshoot and resolve first-level hardware or connectivity issues as required.
Coordinate with Lenovo for end-to-end resolution of hardware issues.
Assist with password management for BitLocker, BIOS, and related issues.
Handle incident management and troubleshooting for software and network issues.
Assist in software packaging for AVC/AMC.
Support AGN services including SD-WAN, WiFi, LAN, and VC during outages, upgrades, and refreshes.
Aid in IT onboarding processes by activating licenses and IT services when self-service fails.
Key Requirements:
Experience with end-user support for hardware and software technologies.
Basic understanding of server and networking support.
Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and connectivity issues.
Ability to manage hardware stock and asset tracking effectively.
Fluency in English.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with software packaging processes.
Experience with SD-WAN and connectivity services.
Knowledge of password management systems like BitLocker.

Work Schedule: 2 days per week on-site
