Enterprise Architect (Banking)

Summary: The Enterprise Architect will play a crucial role in defining and implementing enterprise architecture strategies to support a leading banking client’s digital transformation initiatives in Riyadh. The primary objective is to ensure alignment between technology and business goals while driving large-scale transformation efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Define and develop enterprise architecture strategies aligned with the bank’s business and digital transformation objectives.

• Assess current-state architecture and design target-state architecture across business, application, data, and technology domains.

• Lead architecture governance, standards, frameworks, and best practices across programs and projects.

• Collaborate with business, technology, security, infrastructure, and delivery teams to ensure alignment across enterprise initiatives.

• Support modernization initiatives including cloud transformation, integration strategy, API architecture, data platforms, digital channels, and core banking transformation.

• Conduct architecture reviews, gap assessments, and roadmap planning exercises.

• Define integration patterns, scalability considerations, resiliency standards, and security alignment within enterprise environments.

• Work closely with executive stakeholders and provide strategic advisory on technology investments and transformation programs.

• Support vendor evaluations, solution assessments, and architecture decision-making processes.

• Prepare architecture documentation, operating models, governance artifacts, and executive presentations.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Technology Strategy roles.

• Strong experience within banking or financial services environments.

• Previous consulting experience with global consulting firms or large transformation programs.

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.

• Experience across enterprise applications, integration architecture, cloud platforms, data architecture, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including C-level engagement.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working on large-scale banking transformation programs in the GCC region.

• Knowledge of core banking platforms, digital banking ecosystems, payments, risk, compliance, and regulatory environments.
