Enterprise Architect (Banking)
Summary: The Enterprise Architect will play a crucial role in defining and implementing enterprise architecture strategies to support a leading banking client’s digital transformation initiatives in Riyadh. The primary objective is to ensure alignment between technology and business goals while driving large-scale transformation efforts.
Responsibilities:
Define and develop enterprise architecture strategies aligned with the bank’s business and digital transformation objectives.
Assess current-state architecture and design target-state architecture across business, application, data, and technology domains.
Lead architecture governance, standards, frameworks, and best practices across programs and projects.
Collaborate with business, technology, security, infrastructure, and delivery teams to ensure alignment across enterprise initiatives.
Support modernization initiatives including cloud transformation, integration strategy, API architecture, data platforms, digital channels, and core banking transformation.
Conduct architecture reviews, gap assessments, and roadmap planning exercises.
Define integration patterns, scalability considerations, resiliency standards, and security alignment within enterprise environments.
Work closely with executive stakeholders and provide strategic advisory on technology investments and transformation programs.
Support vendor evaluations, solution assessments, and architecture decision-making processes.
Prepare architecture documentation, operating models, governance artifacts, and executive presentations.
Key Requirements:
10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Technology Strategy roles.
Strong experience within banking or financial services environments.
Previous consulting experience with global consulting firms or large transformation programs.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
Experience across enterprise applications, integration architecture, cloud platforms, data architecture, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including C-level engagement.
Nice to Have:
Experience working on large-scale banking transformation programs in the GCC region.
Knowledge of core banking platforms, digital banking ecosystems, payments, risk, compliance, and regulatory environments.
