Summary: The role of Data Engineer is crucial for a migration project within the insurance sector, focusing on transferring data seamlessly between two insurance policy systems. The key objective is to ensure accurate data mapping and optimization of the integration process.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of mapping rules from one insurance policy (Codan TIA) to another (ABG TIA) by translating rules defined in an Excel sheet into Python code.

  • Integration with both Codan TIA and ABG TIA using REST API methodologies.

  • Performance optimization during the data migration process to ensure efficiency and reliability.


Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Databricks data platform.

  • Proficiency in Python development.

  • Experience in data migration projects.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience in the insurance industry (advantageous but not mandatory).
