SQL Server DBA / Azure SQL DBA

📌 We are looking for a SQL Server DBA / Azure SQL DBA on behalf of our client.

• Remote from Poland

• B2B contract

Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities):

• Strong experience in MS SQL Server Administration & Azure SQL

• Hands-on expertise with Always On Availability Groups

• Solid knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC)

• Experience with SQL Server Replication

• Proven experience in SQL Server 2016 to 2022 migration projects

• Troubleshoot replication and CDC latency, failures, and performance issues.

• Install/Configure/Performance Tune/Scale multi node SQL Clusters and Availability Groups.

• Performing SQL upgrades, security updates and Cumulative Updates within release cycles to maintain supportability of the platform.

• Ability to work with application owners and vendors to perform installation, configuration and troubleshooting.

• Responsible for working assigned tasks or tickets using Service Now Ticketing system in accordance with defines SLA s.

• Experience with automated build and deployment of SQL using PowerShell or scripted solutions.

• Experience with Disaster recovery planning and testing methodologies.

• Provides input into overall development/implementation plan and documents database builds and changes, performs SQL designs, table designs, and stored procedures work.
