Job Description

As a Senior Java Fullstack Developer, you will be a key contributor to the development of enterprise-scale applications, supporting digital innovation initiatives in the retail sector. You will work on modernizing and optimizing systems, implementing high-quality code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technological advancements.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business requirements while adhering to defined architecture and coding standards
• Deliver assigned tasks on time and with high quality
• Ensure code quality through unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and code reviews
• Work with REST APIs, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Spring Batch, and Java 17
• Utilize containerization tools like Kubernetes and Docker for deployment and scalability
• Integrate messaging platforms such as Kafka for efficient data processing
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions
• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the development lifecycle
• Work with Azure cloud services (preferred)

Key Requirements

7+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java Fullstack development

Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, Spring Batch

Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs

Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Kafka

Strong knowledge of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)

Familiarity with Azure cloud services (preferred)

Experience working in Agile environments

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
