Senior Java Developer (logistics industry)

About the Project

Currently we are looking for Senior Java Developers who will join a team working on projects from logistics industry. In this role you’ll play a key role in building high quality, scalable and easily extensible software across multiple markets. You’ll be working, among others, on critical asset management applications, including modules for servicing, warehousing, deployments and beyond.

Work Mode: 100% remote

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate on software architecture design and technical decisions within the team
• Develop, test, and maintain efficient, scalable microservices built with Spring Boot
• Promote best engineering practices, code quality, and continuous improvement across the team
• Take ownership of the systems you build, ensuring proper documentation and design-first development
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver core platform features and services
• Engage with other engineering teams to ensure smooth integration and system interoperability
• Contribute to a DevOps-oriented environment by supporting CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and infrastructure improvements

Expectations

• Min. 5 years of experience
• Proficient in Java (17+), with hands-on experience in Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Authorization Server
• Solid understanding of oAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect protocols
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Skilled in microservice architectures, distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is a strong advantage
• Comfortable working with tools like Maven, Gradle, Kafka, PostgreSQL, ELK Stack, and monitoring solutions like Grafana or Dynatrace
• Knowledge of security best practices based on OWASP guidelines
• Fluent English is required, both written and spoken
• Nice to have: knowledge of frontend technologies such as React, Angular (14+), Next.js, TypeScript or JavaScript; experience with Spring Cloud Gateway or similar API gateway solutions
