Senior ServiceNow Developer

Senior ServiceNow Developer

Responsibilities:

• Configuration, remediation and development of ServiceNow solutions with primary focus on CMDB, HAM and Discovery

• Identification and remediation of Discovery errors and related data quality issues

• Advanced troubleshooting within ServiceNow, especially in CMDB / HAM / Discovery

• Development and optimisation of scripts supporting CMDB, HAM and Discovery areas

• Independent delivery of technical tasks in line with ServiceNow best practices

• Close cooperation with business stakeholders and subject matter experts

• Documentation of implemented solutions and progress reporting

Requirements:

• Senior-level profile – preferably around 8 years of experience, however profiles with fewer years will also be considered as long as all technical requirements are met

• Strong, hands-on experience with ServiceNow

• Very strong practical experience in the priority areas: CMDB, HAM Pro, Discovery and Agent Client Collector

• Proven ability to troubleshoot ServiceNow issues, especially Discovery-related errors

• Strong scripting skills supporting CMDB / HAM / Discovery use cases

• Very good knowledge of JavaScript, especially in ServiceNow scripting

• Experience developing and maintaining: Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions and GlideRecord queries

• Ability to build workflows and automation using: Flow Designer, Scripted REST APIs and IntegrationHub

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and optimisation skills

• Deep understanding of ServiceNow best practices

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAM Pro

• End-to-end implementation experience with SAM Pro is an advantage, but not the primary focus of this role

• Hands-on experience in end-to-end implementations of HAM Pro and/or SAM Pro is a strong asset

• ServiceNow CIS certification, preferably CIS – Discovery or Certified Application Developer (CAD)

• The client considers these certifications a strong indicator of understanding the platform and knowing what to look for when troubleshooting
