ABOUT ROLE

As a Windows Operator with German, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of enterprise-level Windows Server environments. This position combines strong technical expertise with effective communication skills, as you will collaborate with international teams and support critical infrastructure for global clients.

YOUR TASKS

• Administer and optimize Windows Server infrastructure, including patch management and security updates (vulnerability management, hardening)

• Manage VMware virtual machines in vSphere and maintain physical servers

• Automate system processes using PowerShell scripting

• Perform system health checks and adjust parameters to ensure optimal performance

• Handle incidents, problems, changes, and service requests (SR), ensuring compliance with client requirements

• Maintain documentation, including runbooks and transition files for operational handover

• Collaborate with various teams and specialists such as Architects, Subject Matter Experts, Solution Designers, and engineers on both Capgemini and customer sides

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum 3 years of experience in administering and managing Windows Server infrastructure

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft services, including Active Directory, Windows Server Update Services, and Configuration Manager

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server security, including vulnerability management and system hardening

• Practical experience in managing VMware virtual machines

• Proficiency in maintaining automation scripts using PowerShell or Bash

• Knowledge of Distributed File System (DFS)

• Communicative German language skills (B1+)
