Windows Servers Developer

Windows Servers Developer 📍 Location: Poland, remote

We are looking for an experienced Windows Servers Developer with a strong background in Windows server environments, virtualization, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in administration, troubleshooting, and managing enterprise-level infrastructure.

Role Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting Windows-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of systems. You will work with Active Directory services, virtualization platforms, and cloud environments while following ITIL processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (2008 / 2012)

• Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory services

• Handle Domain Controllers, including configuration and support

• Manage core infrastructure services such as:

  • DNS

  • DHCP

  • Group Policy

  • Active Directory replication

• Support and maintain Windows Clustering environments

• Perform server security patching and updates

• Work with virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere)

• Manage VM lifecycle operations including cloning, templates, and snapshots

• Collaborate on cloud infrastructure using hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Follow and contribute to ITIL-based processes and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of experience in Windows Server administration

• Strong expertise in Windows Server 2008 / 2012 environments

• Solid experience with Active Directory and related services

• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere (5.x / 6.x)

• Knowledge of vMotion, DRS, and High Availability (HA)

• Familiarity with Windows clustering and infrastructure management

• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Understanding of ITIL processes and operational best practices
