Senior Business Analyst (Procurement) — Oracle Fusion

Sitting between procurement, finance, and delivery teams, this role is about turning complex procure-to-pay needs into clear, workable solutions on Oracle Fusion. With a mix of hands-on business analysis, process design, and stakeholder management, you’ll help demanding enterprise clients move from vague requirements to aligned backlogs and implemented changes.

As a Senior Business Analyst (Procurement), you’ll join a network of practitioners who understand both the realities of enterprise procurement and the discipline required to land change in Oracle Fusion.

This role sits at the core of how procurement processes are designed, governed, and executed. You’ll own requirements from discovery through to user stories, working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure Oracle Fusion Procurement (and related modules) reflect how the business really needs to work—within the guardrails of enterprise governance.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Business Analyst (Procurement) at Calimala, you’ll lead discovery and delivery in environments where stakeholders are senior, expectations are high, and ambiguity is the default. One engagement might involve mapping current procure-to-pay processes and defining changes for Oracle Fusion; another could focus on managing and refining a backlog in Azure DevOps across multiple sprints and teams.

You’ll run workshops, document processes and gaps, translate outcomes into user stories with acceptance criteria, and keep the backlog healthy over time. You’ll also act as a bridge between business and IT—ensuring developers understand the “why” behind requirements and stakeholders understand realistic options and trade-offs.

Who we're looking for

You’re a hands-on Senior BA who is comfortable owning discovery, requirements, and backlog without constant direction. You know procurement in practice, not just in theory, and you can hold your own in conversations with demanding stakeholders while still keeping delivery grounded and pragmatic.

You’ve likely worked on transformation or platform programs where Oracle Fusion (or similar ERP) sat at the centre of procurement. • Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst, delivering autonomously in complex environments

• Strong domain knowledge in Procurement, including procure-to-pay / purchasing processes, controls, approvals, and policy constraints

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion, ideally including Oracle Fusion Procurement or closely related modules

• Proven ability to run Discovery workshops: requirements elicitation, process mapping (as-is / to-be), and gap analysis with demanding stakeholder groups

• Experience translating business needs into clear requirements and user stories, including well-defined acceptance criteria

• Practical experience managing backlogs in Azure DevOps (or similar): creating items, prioritising, maintaining, and refining over time

• Ability to lead grooming/refinement sessions with developers independently and keep delivery aligned with business priorities

• Strong relationship management skills with senior / challenging stakeholders; confident communicator with solid expectation management and alignment skills

• Familiarity with enterprise environments, governance-heavy procurement organisations, and cross-functional (IT + business) transformation programs is a plus
