Production Support Engineer
Location: Cracow
Contract Type: B2B
Work Model: Evening shift 4-12 PM CET, full remote, occasional visits at the office
What you’ll do: (List out Key Responsibilities)
The role will require the candidate to active participation and contribution in Incident Management, Service Quality Management, Stakeholder management etc including but not limited to :
• Investigating system failures and incidents reported on the services supported.
• Communicating with various Business & IT teams.
• Perform root-cause analysis and production fixes.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and provide on-call support on weekend.
• Working as a part of a global team.
• Adherence to SLAs & service delivery procedures defined by ITIL framework.

What you will need to succeed in the role: (Minimum Qualification and Skills Required)
• Strong written and oral English skill with the ability to work with global virtual team across multiple regions.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and provide on-call support, especially during weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to work effectively and professionally under pressure.
• Proven experience as a production technical support engineer.
• Excellent problem solving and root cause investigation skills.
• Understanding of IT Infrastructure is essential.
• Positive 'can do' attitude and self-motivated. Adaptive capacity in learning new knowledge.
• Development and support experience on IBM sterling Integrator, Sterling Engine proxy, Sterling authentication server, sterling configuration manager.
• Good knowledge about File Transmission protocols likes FTPS, SFTP, AS2, SOAP, AS2 and SwiftNet FileAct and InterAct.
• Java and Unix/Linux environments. Knowledge of Oracle Databases.

• ITIL Accreditation is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Payment & Cash Management systems is preferable.
• Familiarity with Incident / Problem / Change and Release Management procedures is beneficial.
• Working knowledge of APIs is beneficial.
• Experience with Cloud platforms is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of MQ is preferable.
• Experience with Micro Services architecture is beneficial.
