Scrum Master
Description
The Scrum Master Role needs to be able to coach and guide Agile teams, remove impediments, and foster continuous improvement. You will ensure Agile principles are followed, facilitate scrum ceremonies, implement scrum artifacts and act as a servant leader to your team. At all times you will drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Lead daily stand ups
Implement scrum artifacts and ceremonies
Lead and facilitate sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives
Remove roadblocks
Track and monitor progress using Scrum artifacts, such as points to time correlations, velocity and complexity
Track and monitor progress using Agile tools and Jira
Ensure adherence to Agile values and principles
Coach team members on Agile best practices
Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, Project Managers, Program Managers and other key stakeholders to deliver against the project plan
Collaborate with product teams to elaborate user stories into manageable technical development tasks and sub stories
Collaborate with test teams to ensure effective UAT, functional and non-functional testing is carried
out, monitored and tracked to completion, so delivery outcomes are met
Requirements
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools, preferably Jira and Confluence
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience in leading Agile teams and managing backlogs
Expertise in managing scrum ceremonies
Drive for results and positive attitude
Nice to have
Certified Scrum Master, such as CSM, PSM
Prior experience in the EdTech domain (e-learning platforms, digital classrooms, LMS)
Knowledge of learning science, instructional design, or accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
Familiarity with tools like Moodle, Canvas, Zoom SDK, or Google Classroom integration
