Role Overview
The Digital Query Management (DQM) is a key strategic programme for our global banking client. DQM, as a programme, aims to move the organisation forward into a best-in-class coordinated service function, freeing up sales staff to spend more time with client queries, and being better informed in those interactions. And DQM is based on the SaaS Microsoft Dynamics365 platform.
DQM has now been deployed to 30+ countries, including all hub sites, and to c.4k wholesale colleagues across the world.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics – Specialist Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions to meet business requirements. This role requires deep technical expertise in Dynamics 365, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations, Business Central, or Customer Engagement) solutions to meet business needs.
Develop and maintain custom applications, workflows, plugins, and integrations using Power Platform and Azure services.
Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform system configuration, data migration, and integration with third-party systems.
Optimize and troubleshoot Dynamics 365 applications to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
Provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and contribute to best practices for development and deployment.
Stay updated on Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform updates, recommending innovative solutions to enhance business processes.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Key Skills and Experience
5+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations, Business Central, or Customer Engagement).
Proven experience with Dynamics CRM/365 CE customization, including plugins, workflows, and custom entities.
Strong experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions) for integration purposes.
Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with external systems using APIs, Web Services (e.g., Azure Service Bus).
Experience with SDK and 3rd party tools such as XRMToolbox for administration of CRM system.
Building and configuring MSD365 forms, views, dashboards, and workflows.
Understanding of CRM API, REST/ODATA and SOAP endpoints.
Experience with .NET, SQL Server, JavaScript, and C#.
Expertise in SQL Server and data modelling for Dynamics 365.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Azure DevOps.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex technical issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Desirable skills & certifications
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Developer Associate (MB-400 or equivalent).
Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400).
Knowledge of TypeScript, HTML/CSS, or React for front-end customizations.
Familiarity with Azure AI or Machine Learning for advanced Dynamics solutions.
Understanding of business processes in banking & finance.
