ERP Release Manager
We are looking for an ERP / D365 Release Manager to take ownership of planning and delivering releases for Dynamics 365 Finance & SCM and related ERP systems.
You will ensure that releases are delivered in a structured, secure, and low-risk manner, coordinating across multiple teams and environments. This role plays a key part in maintaining system stability, compliance, and production integrity.
Tasks
Plan and manage the release schedule, aligning deployments with business priorities
Define and control release scope together with project and technical teams
Coordinate build preparation and packaging, including documentation and release notes
Lead approval processes (CAB / release reviews) and ensure readiness for production
Oversee deployments across environments (UAT, Production) using tools like LCS / PPAC
Ensure all releases meet security, compliance, and audit requirements
Coordinate post-release validation and manage rollback or fixes if needed
Drive continuous improvement of release processes and deployment quality
Expectations
5+ years of experience in IT service / application management, including release or change management
Strong understanding of release governance and ITIL practices
Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O deployments (LCS, packages, environments)
Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders
Experience managing production releases under pressure
Understanding of compliance and audit requirements (e.g. finance environments, SOX)
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira)
Basic knowledge of deployment scripting (PowerShell / YAML)
Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
Nice to have:
ITIL certification (Change / Release Management)
Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications
Background in project management or delivery coordination
