Role Description
You will join Professional Services team that delivers custom integrations and automations for Zendesk customers using Zendesk Sell. We will expect you to define & drive a strategic approach for test automation of our solutions. You will be responsible for the quality of the solutions delivered, through test planning and automation of end-to-end scenarios. Part of your work will also require environment preparations and exploratory testing. We work with Groovy & Spock framework, but the scope of our services may change and so our approach to testing and tooling will need to be adjusted as well.
What we expect you to know or quickly learn?
- Experience in development and maintenance of automated tests
- Experience in test planning and execution as a part of project delivery
- Fluency in at least one JVM-based programming language (e.g., Groovy, Java, Kotlin)
- Technical troubleshooting skills & fluency with relational DBs
What experience can be helpful to become successful in the role?
- Knowledge of/willingness to learn Spock framework
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines & Jenkins
- Experience with API and/or web UI test automation
