Job description

The Microsoft 365 Platform Manager will lead and coordinate the support and management of Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration systems throughout their lifecycle from implementation to decommission. A true SME in the Microsoft ecosystem including M365 and Power Platform, Teams and SharePoint.
 
WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Leading the M365 team, helping build their expertise in the M365 Power Platform, Teams, and SharePoint to enable them to contribute to the organisation's digitalization agenda.
  • You will contribute to the development of standards and best practice as well as lead on the implementation of agreed Development and Governance standards.
  • Be an application/system owner for multiple critical applications/systems.
  • Actively manage the appropriate support teams ensuring SLAs are met, customer experiences are acceptable, and be an escalation point for the business and the support teams.
  • Implement, maintain, and support the Microsoft 365 platform, Teams, Power BI, and SharePoint that power productivity tools and data analytics.
  • Act as an escalation point for any platform issues.
  • Work with the relevant teams to ensure that the architecture and security of the platforms meet requirements and allows for a fast pace of change and implementation.
  • Manage the well-being of the team by providing regular 1:1 reviews and roadmaps for all individual members of the team.
  • Identify each Team member’s strengths and weaknesses and make sure that they are in a position that will make both themselves and the Team thrive.
  • Creating, Managing & Improving Training Plans for all Team Members.
 
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar programs; or comparable qualifications/certifications with practical experience.
  • Demonstratable experience of supporting critical business systems in an IT/IS function
  • Expert in the Microsoft ecosystem including M365 and Power Platform, SharePoint.
  • Proven track record in developing, leading the implementation, supporting, and configuring new business solutions using M365, Teams, SharePoint, and associated Microsoft tooling
  • Proven track record in supporting and configuring new features and updates in M365, SharePoint and associated Microsoft tooling
  • Ability to understand and assess complex and sometimes unfamiliar situations, visualise solutions and see through to resolution
  • Results driven, analytical and innovative individual with the ability to decipher business requirements and convert them effectively into new technology solutions
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) in English
  • German language skills are beneficial.
