Database Administrator with French

We are currently looking for a Database Administrator with French to join our Sopra Steria team in a project for a leading French broadcasting company.

Your responsibilities

 - Daily support service including backup routines, database import/export, monitoring and control, database performance tuning, database deployment, SQL script deployment, migration, upgrade

- Identify and assess customer database requirements.

- Execute tasks independently based on organizational standards.

- Enhance solution effectiveness and review team members’ work.

 - Lead or participate in customer meetings, aligning project goals.

- Organize and prioritize tasks, adapting to workload demands.

- Suggest improvements for productivity and customer satisfaction.

- Set up and maintain operating systems, middleware, and databases.

- Manage routine database operations, including security monitoring

Must-have requirements:

• Excellent skills in Postgres or MySQL database administration
• Good knowledge of: SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase
• Knowledge of other database engines will be an asset
• French (B2)
• initiative, accuracy, and attention to details

Experience and Certifications: 

·      2 years of experience

·      Knowledge of cloud will be an asset
