AD/Entra Engineer (Advanced) (m/f/n)
Currently, for one of our Partners, we are looking for an experienced Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID Engineer (Advanced) to support a long‑term project delivered for a European Union organization based in Warsaw. The role focuses on Identity and Access Management (IAM) services in a hybrid, security‑critical environment.
Important: in order to start working in the position, the candidate must have a current Security Clearance valid from the first day of the assignment, minimum level: EU CONFIDENTIAL
Tasks:
Administration and maintenance of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
Management of Group Policies, AD Sites and Services, domains, forests, and trust relationships
Troubleshooting complex issues related to AD, Entra ID, authentication, authorization, DNS, replication, and GPO processing
Design and implementation of cross‑system authentication and authorization solutions
User access and identity lifecycle management
Incident handling and problem management
Implementation of changes in line with ITIL‑based change management procedures
Updating and maintaining technical documentation, operating procedures, and runbooks
Participation in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities
Other identity‑related tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Expectations:
Extensive hands‑on experience with Active Directory, domain controllers, and Microsoft Entra ID
Strong expertise in:
AD services, domains, trusts, schema, and replication
Group Policy creation, governance, and rollout
AD security best practices (least privilege, admin tiering, hardened DCs)
AD‑integrated DNS and authentication mechanisms
Backup and recovery of Active Directory
Proven ability to work in hybrid identity environments (AD DS + Entra ID)
Strong troubleshooting skills across AD replication, DNS, authentication, GPOs, and Entra sign‑in issues
Automation‑oriented mindset with PowerShell scripting experience
Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL‑based service delivery
Proactive attitude, strong user orientation, and sense of ownership
Very good communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Ability to adapt to fast‑changing Microsoft identity technologies
Requirements:
Profile: Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID Engineer (ADENG) (Advanced)
IT experience: minimum 5 years
Experience as AD / Entra Engineer: minimum 4 years
Language: English B2, confirmed by a certificate from a recognized certifying institution (if you don't have one, we will help you obtain it)
Security Clearance: Mandatory and valid from the first day of assignment, minimum level: EU CONFIDENTIAL
Availability: Earliest start date 01.08.2026 (no later than 3 months after order signature)
Certificates preferred but not required: ITIL, • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC 300); • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ 104); • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate

Long‑term engagement: 220 MD / 12 months, with up to 3 possible extensions (maximum total duration: 48 months)
On‑call duty: approx. 1016 MH per 12 months (paid separately according to the terms agreed during the call)
