Summary: The Digital Transformation Director is a high-level leadership role responsible for driving the modernization of the organization’s operating model through digital technologies. You will be the architect of large-scale change, overseeing the transition from legacy processes to agile, digitally-enabled workflows. Your goal is to leverage digital tools to accelerate drug development, enhance clinical trial efficiency, and improve the overall patient and provider experience.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive professional experience within the Life Science industry, with a profound understanding of how to implement digital solutions within the constraints of GxP, CSV (Computer System Validation), and global health regulations.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT leadership or management consulting, with a proven track record of directing complex, enterprise-wide digital transformation programs.

• Deep knowledge of emerging digital trends in Life Sciences, such as Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCTs), Lab Automation, IoT, and Cloud-based research platforms.

• Exceptional leadership and change management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence C-suite executives and lead diverse, global teams through organizational shifts.

• Mastery of the English language, with the ability to communicate a compelling digital vision and present complex transformation roadmaps to international stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and execution of the global digital transformation strategy, ensuring it aligns with the organization's long-term scientific and commercial goals.

• Direct the modernization of the digital core, ensuring that new platforms and technologies are fully integrated and compliant with Life Science quality standards.

• Act as a primary change agent, fostering a digital-first culture across the organization and mentoring leaders on the adoption of agile methodologies.

• Manage the digital transformation portfolio and budget, ensuring that investments deliver clear ROI and tangible improvements in time-to-market for new therapies.

• Collaborate with R&D, Clinical, and Manufacturing heads to identify and eliminate technological bottlenecks through innovative digital automation.
