    Qurate Retail Group (QRG) is one of the world’s leading multimedia retailers reaching millions of customers around the globe each day on-air, on-line, and via mobile. 

      

    Join the Software Engineering team in Krakow in delivering exciting, global projects. 

    For our business to work, the Integration Development Team integrate over 600 services from our e-commerce, mobile and video channels with global implementations of ERP SAP (ECC, S/4 Hana), Order, Customs and Warehouse Management Systems, which serve as the backbone of our company. We also integrate with a variety of third-party vendor applications and SaaS systems. 

      

    We work primarily with Tibco BusinessWorks 5.15, Mule 4 ESB (MuleSoft), IBM MQ, NGINX, Azure API Management supported by Terraform configuration as code. Jenkins is our CICD tool. 

      

    We plan on supporting Spring Boot apps to build our microservices and REST APIs which seamlessly operate under ELK and Dynatrace supervision (Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube on K8S with Docker).

    Senior Software Engineer (tech-lead) - Integration Development

      

    As our Team Member you will: 

    • Be a part of the international team with exposure to our global business across a variety of markets including, the US, UK, Germany, Italy 
    • Work on complex integration projects of varied complexity and scope, 
    • Work independently to develop, configure, code and test integrations, 
    • Be responsible for completion of artifacts or components of a larger initiative 
    • Provide input related to the technical design of new applications/systems and architecture. 
    • Work independently to prepare documentation that describes installation and operating procedures, including application user guides. 
    • Test own work and support test reviews. Participate in post-implementation reviews, 
    • Take part in refinement sessions, retrospectives and other agile ceremonies, 
    • Cooperate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, 
    • Interact with external vendors 
    • Perform role of tech-lead and mentor to the team 
    • Organize meetings with team members, where you share your technical expertise, project status, 
    • Propose technical and organizational improvements 
    • Assist other team members with their assignments (e.g., onboarding junior team members), 
    • Maintain legacy systems and work on migration and upgrade projects, 
    • Provide operational support for production systems during on-call shifts. Assist other team members with tackling support. 

      

    Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent experience. 
    • 5 or more years of related experience. 
    • Good level of English in both speaking and writing. 
    • Solid knowledge of Tibco BusinessWorks or Mule ESB Experience or other Enterprise Service Bus equivalent technology. 
    • Java competency, current JDK features, common libraries in use. Knowledge of Spring Boot / Spring Integration is an asset. 
    • Knowledge of enterprise messaging systems, preferably IBM MQ and Tibco EMS. 
    • Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and error handling. 
    • Experience with Jira / git / maven / etc. related tooling for modern software engineering 
    • SQL skills 
    • Experience with testing, test libraries, tools, methodologies. 
    • Experience with DevOps, especially pipeline creation/management for CI/CD, continuous testing, automation of deployment, leveraging pipeline automation, and custom job creation is of advantage. 
    • Experience with Docker, k8s and Elastic ELK stack is a plus. 
    • Understanding cloud systems, configuration as code (Microsoft Azure is a plus). 
    • Ability to organize and lead meetings with team members (technical, project). Good communication skills are a must.
