Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive release planning for the entire project portfolio;
- Drive Release Gate meetings, work with stakeholders on Release acceptance checklists;
- Closely cooperate with the internal team and external on the client side to align release processes and approaches;
- Collaborate with product managers, development teams, and stakeholders on deployment preparation and resolving dependencies;
- Manage risks and resolve issues that affect the scope, schedule, and quality of releases;
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between development, QA, product management, and other relevant teams;
- Ensure that releases comply with relevant requirements and standards;
- Create relevant documentation including release notes, release plan, release instructions, and deployment notes;
- Operate all key release plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, and schedule and scope changes for releases;
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices for release management;
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in release management or a related role within the software development industry;
- Excellent management and organizational skills;
- Good knowledge of software development lifecycle and methodologies (Agile, Safe, Scrum, etc.);
- Proficiency in release management tools and software like Jenkins, ServiceNow, Jira, Bitbucket, or GitLab;
- Experienced in close collaboration with tech and business stakeholders;
- Experience with C-level enterprise stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field;
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities;
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges;
- Advanced English level;
- Readiness to travel to US frequently;
Nice to have:
- Qualifications in relevant release management certifications would be a plus;
- Experience with SAFe framework;
- Experience with Data projects;
