We are looking for talented Lead JAVA Engineer to join our team in Poland. 



Our California-based customer is an American global e-commerce leader, one of the most popular and successful websites on the Internet. It provides platform services by connecting millions of sellers and buyers in more than 190 markets around the world. 



The Lead Java Engineer will be a Tech Lead for a cross-functional team to build an innovative cloud-based livestreaming project to shape the future of global e-commerce. Our goal is to personalize the online shopping experience, engage customers with more ways to interact with sellers, and automate processes to increase buying satisfaction. 



We are developing a robust project from scratch, employing a modern stack of tools with best principles and practices from Agile and DevOps culture.



Responsibilities:


  • Leading the team throughout the SDLC to deliver new business features
  • Support team members in overcoming technical and project challenges 
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product
  • Conduct design and code reviews to deliver high quality product

Requirements:


  • At least 7 years of experience in software development with JAVA technologies
  • Good knowledge of infrastructure side of things (GCP preferable)
  • Good knowledge of API design patterns and web technologies
  • Good understanding of CI/CD best practices 
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills
  • Advanced spoken and written knowledge of English language (C1/C2)
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field

  • Good at asynchronous, proactive communication
  • Able to analyze, plan, and estimate requirements and identify risks involved
