The Product Owner of PremierOne Product Management is responsible for serving as the agile product owner for assigned feature teams across multiple product lines.
This position is responsible for establishing best practice and standards for requirements elicitation, artifact documentation, and filling the agile role of product owner at the team level. The PO will be responsible for managing prioritization of the suite backlog at the feature and user story level.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with senior product management to understand suite level initiatives and epics.
- Directly impact the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice and counsel to Product Management leadership
- Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise in all functional areas to help maintain a system-level view during the decision making process
- Review epics, features, and user stories from analysts and product teams to ensure quality and completeness
- Actively engage in sprint planning and sprint review ceremonies
- Ensure backlog and goals for each team are maintained and current
- Own backlog prioritization for assigned SCRUM teams
- Practice knowledge transfer and foster change management as the organization changes and new skills are required
Desired Skills

- 5+ year experience in product ownership or agile engineering

- Firm understanding of software design, user interaction, and user interface design.
- Experience in Law Enforcement / Public Safety software is a plus
