Job description

Role Description:

As Linux System Engineer, you will have a significant influence on how everyday IT Operations of PAYBACK Shared Utilities (SU) are performed.

System-Administration for all PAYBACK Linux-Server (RedHat)
Operation and administration of Openshift
Operation and maintenance of Puppet and RedHat Satellite infrastructure
Administration of our VMWare installation
Administration and maintenance of RedHat IDM
Creating python scripts for automation
Working on incidents and problems for all platforms in our team
Contribute to the development of our future platform

Qualifications:

You have successfully completed your studies in Computer Science and have several years of relevant professional experience
Good knowledge of Linux (RedHat) – certifications are desirable (RHCSA, RHCE)
Strong experience with Container solutions and administration of Openshift
Know How with automation based on Puppet and RedHat Satellite
Programming experience with Python
Experience with infrastructure provisioning into public cloud
Very good English language (C1-level)
