We are looking for a hybrid Technical Business Analyst / Scrum Master, who will take ownership of both requirement gathering and Agile process facilitation within a cross-functional development team. This is a role for someone who enjoys both structure and problem solving — combining business analysis with team leadership.
- Eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand pain points and translate them into functional requirements
- Modeling business processes (BPMN/UML) and maintaining knowledge in tools such as Confluence and Jira
- Participating in solution design and verifying that technical implementations align with business needs
- Supporting product backlog refinement and prioritization (acting as proxy Product Owner if needed)
- Providing data insights and analysis to drive informed decisions
- Facilitating all Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews)
- Coaching the team in Agile principles and best practices
- Removing blockers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensuring proper use of Agile tools and metrics (e.g. Jira velocity charts, burndown)
- 5+ years in IT as Business Analyst, Scrum Master or hybrid roles
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models in international setups
- Strong understanding of UML, business process modeling, and software development life cycle
- Familiarity with software architecture, usability concepts, and accessibility standards
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and backlog management tools
- Excellent communication in English (min. B2+)
- Basic programming or database background (ability to read code or write simple queries)
- Previous experience in the financial, consulting, or product domain
- Ability to work across time zones and drive distributed teams
