Automation Specialist (RPA)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Tech Automation Engineer with expertise in automation, integration, and data engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex automation workflows using Workato, optimizing cloud databases like Snowflake, and supporting the company’s technical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Workato Automation & Integration

• Design, implement, and maintain automation workflows using Workato.
• Ensure automation processes are scalable, reliable, and meet business requirements.
• Leverage automation to solve common issues reported by the Tech Support Team.

Cloud Database Management

• Manage and optimize Snowflake databases for performance, availability, and data integrity.

DBT (Data Build Tool) Implementation

• Build and manage data pipelines using DBT to support efficient data operations and reporting.

Process Improvement & Optimization

• Continuously analyze and enhance existing workflows through automation.
• Identify and reduce manual processes to increase operational efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with data engineering, IT, and operations teams to understand business needs.
• Translate these needs into automated workflows and integrations.

Documentation & Training

• Document automation processes and create troubleshooting guides.
• Train team members and end-users on automation tools and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tech operations, automation, or integration roles.
• Hands-on experience with Workato for complex automation workflows.
• Strong expertise in managing Snowflake cloud databases.
• Experience with DBT for data modeling and transformation.
• Proficient in SQL for query writing and data management.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, Tray.io, MuleSoft).
• Knowledge of distributed version control systems, such as GitHub.
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud infrastructure.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
