Python Data Engineer

• Remote with occasional visits to Warsaw office.

About a role:

We are looking for Data Engineer with expertise in AWS environment who will join to IT projects for Polish and international clients. The department provides IT consulting services, mainly to financial institutions from Poland and abroad.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with data in AWS environment.
• Designing and implementing ETL/ELT workflows.
• Data management, data modeling, data versioning, and data quality management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer. 
• Proficient in Python.
• Very good knowledge of AWS environment and services such as: S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, EMR, Kinesis and RDS.
• SQL and SQL databases.
• AWS Certified Data Engineer / AWS Machine Learning Engineer - you need to have one of them.
• Higher degree in Data Engineering, mathematics or similar.
• Very good English level.

 Nice to have:

• Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka
