DIMA (Data, Information Management, and Analytics) is a business unit in KMD that delivers data-driven solutions.
We are building products that incorporate a mix of business intelligence, data warehousing, machine learning, IoT, and custom-developed web applications.
We are now looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our EnergyKey product team. KMD EnergyKey is a cloud solution for retrieval, quality control, analysis, and calculation of energy data as well as a data platform for billing, energy management, and operational optimization.
You will be working in an international setting, the Polish part of the team consists of 7 specialists handling DevOps and application development (Java, C#, Angular).
After your morning coffee you will be:
- Monitoring infrastructure and application stack
- Resolving minor cases and supporting senior team members in the resolution of major cases
- Building, maintaining and improving automation around infrastructure and applications
- Supporting implementation of Azure DevOps, infrastructure as a code, configuration management, and application pipelines
- Enhancing monitoring
- Documenting DevOps setup
We want you in our team if you:
- Have 1-4 years of experience as IT support, system admin, DevOps engineer, or developer
- Have experience with at least ONE of the following:
- Azure or another cloud provider
- Scripting
- Git, CI/CD, and relevant tools
- Have been working with database systems (SQL Server)
- Have been working with Windows and Linux servers
- Are excellent in English both written and spoken
- Have exceptional communication skills
- Have a positive “can-do” attitude and a quality-oriented mindset
- Can learn quickly
- Are a team player, but also able to work independently
We are a perfect match if you additionally:
- Have been working with Azure DevOps
- Have experience with PowerShell
- Are familiar with monitoring tools
