As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you'll support the team in deploying applications and infrastructure on Azure, building automation scripts, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Your impact zone
Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Support the deployment of applications and infrastructure in Azure environments
Learn to define infrastructure with IaC tools like Bicep, ARM, or Terraform
Help troubleshoot pipeline or infrastructure issues with guidance from senior engineers
Collaborate with developers and other teams to ensure smooth delivery processes
Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and DevOps knowledge sharing sessions
Continuously improve your skills and stay up to date with best practices in cloud and DevOps
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain automation workflows under supervision
Monitor pipeline runs and deployment jobs
Support infrastructure provisioning in Azure using IaC templates
Document processes, learnings, and repeatable tasks
Take part in incident resolution and root cause analysis
Be open to feedback and eager to grow through mentorship and hands-on learning
Qualifications & tech toolbox
Basic understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Azure
Familiarity with Git and version control systems
Exposure to scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Bash) or basic IaC tools (Bicep, ARM, Terraform)
Willingness to learn Azure DevOps and CI/CD concepts
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team
A proactive approach and eagerness to solve problems
Education & Experience
Ongoing or completed degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field – or hands-on experience from bootcamps/personal projects
First commercial experience (internship/freelance/personal DevOps projects) is a plus
Extra stardust for
Experience with container tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools in cloud environments
Familiarity with software development workflows and basic programming
