Salary: 800-1200 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: elastic hybrid from Gdańsk (at least 2 days per week from the office)

Project

We are looking for an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead a large-scale release train in the area of Transaction Banking and Payment Data. The initiative involves over 90 professionals working across 7 Scrum teams and focuses on the development of Java-based microservices, Kafka producers and consumers, and enterprise-level data solutions leveraging Oracle and Snowflake. Additionally, the project integrates analytical components such as Power BI and SSAS to support business intelligence needs. Operating within the Transaction Banking and Payment Data domain, the scope includes work related to ISO20022 standards, requiring both strong technical expertise and solid understanding of the business context.

Expected competences and knowledge

• More than 4 years of proven experience as a SAFe Release Train Engineer, leading large-scale agile programs

• Over 4 years of hands-on experience working with Scrum methodologies, facilitating team ceremonies and driving agile practices

• Background in projects involving Data Warehouse and Data Engineering

• Experience in solution architecture, particularly in data platform initiatives, ensuring scalability and alignment with business requirements

• Previous involvement in software engineering projects, preferably with Java and Python, providing a solid technical foundation

Nice to have

• Exposure to the Payments and Transaction Banking domain, ideally gained through participation in related projects

• Familiarity with ISO20022 standards and their application in payment systems

• Experience with SWIFT-related solutions or processes

Responsibilities you'll have

• Lead and manage the release train of 90+ people across 7 Scrum teams

• Facilitate program-level ceremonies and ensure alignment with SAFe principles

• Drive continuous delivery, transparency, and collaboration across teams

• Support teams in removing impediments and ensuring value delivery

• Foster collaboration between engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders

• Ensure alignment of development activities with business priorities in the Transaction Banking / Payment Data domain
