Delivery Lead / Technical Product Owner

Salary: 900 - 1280 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Gdynia / Gdańsk (3 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on financial crime prevention, including areas such as anti–money laundering (AML), tax evasion, and counter-terrorist financing. The initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency through a unified case and investigation management platform, leveraging automation, improved data quality, and advanced reporting capabilities. The project operates on large-scale data environments, combining both strategic and tactical data processing approaches to support informed decision-making.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Maximizing the value delivered by integration (orchestration) teams

• Executing the strategic direction defined by architecture teams

• Creating, refining, and clearly communicating Product Backlog items

• Prioritizing backlog to ensure optimal delivery of business value

• Ensuring backlog transparency and alignment with agile practices

• Defining and communicating team objectives and goals (PI objectives) 

• Collaborating with architects, product management, and stakeholders

• Supporting solution design aligned with architectural and non-functional requirements

• Working closely with product management, architects, and other Product Owners

• Contributing to integration framework governance and common platform development

• Identifying risks, dependencies, and impediments at team level

• Supporting agile delivery within organizational standards and governance frameworks

• Daily cooperation with integration teams and participation in governance forums

Expected competences and knowledge

• At least 4 years of experience as Product Owner, Delivery Lead, Project Manager, or similar role

• Technical background - Java, Microservices, SQL, PostgreSQL, API

• Experience in agile environments, preferably within the financial sector

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, FDD, DSDM, etc.)

• Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively across teams

• Experience in breaking down complex initiatives into smaller deliverable stories

• Solid understanding of IT architecture concepts

• Experience or exposure to data integration and big data environments

• Java (including microservices architecture) 

• SQL and PostgreSQL

• APIs and integration frameworks

• Big data technologies (exposure at strategic and operational level)

• Agile tooling and product backlog management tools

• Data platforms supporting reporting, dashboards, and workflow systems
