PL SQL/Oracle Developer

Warszawa or Kraków-based opportunity with a hybrid work model (up to 4 remote days per week).

As a PL/SQL / Oracle Developer you will be working for our client, a global financial institution delivering advanced solutions within capital markets and securities services. You will join an international IT team responsible for developing and optimizing database-driven applications that support critical business processes. In this role, you will focus on enhancing performance, ensuring code quality, and contributing to system stability across complex environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions while maintaining high standards of security, reliability, and maintainability.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL-based solutions supporting business applications

• Optimize existing database code to improve performance and maintainability

• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development and security standards

• Design and implement database structures and features within Oracle environments

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and clarify technical and business requirements

• Support test strategy definition and implementation to ensure solution quality

• Configure and support deployment tools to ensure smooth releases

• Analyze system performance and identify improvement opportunities

• Contribute to feasibility studies and technical solution design

• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge sharing

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in PL/SQL and Oracle development

• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with Oracle databases

• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database solutions

• Familiarity with development tools such as SQL Developer or similar

• Understanding of software development standards and security practices

• Experience with test automation and quality assurance processes

• Knowledge of BI Publisher or similar reporting tools

• Experience working in enterprise or financial systems environments

• Proactive mindset and ability to work under time pressure

Language Required for the role:

• English: Fluent
