Job description

emagine is looking for a Business Expert in Marketing to our e-commerce client.

Start: ASAP

Length: 3 months with possible extension

Location: Stockholm on-site minimum 3-4 days per week

Role Overview
The Creative Performance Lead defines how creative effectiveness is measured, optimized, and scaled across the organization. By establishing a unified, cross-channel approach to creative performance, the role connects insights from digital, social, influencer, and .com into a cohesive system that drives better content decisions and business outcomes. Sitting at the intersection of marketing, data, and product, the role builds the frameworks, tools, and feedback loops that ensure creative is continuously improved based on real performance signals—not isolated channel metrics.


Key Responsibilities
Creative Performance Strategy & Operating Model

Own and define the overarching approach to creative performance across channels, ensuring a consistent and scalable methodology for how content is evaluated, learned from, and improved. Establish cross-channel frameworks that move teams from ad-hoc analysis to structured, repeatable systems.


Testing & Experimentation Infrastructure
Design and embed a structured testing ecosystem (e.g. A/B testing across .com and marketing channels), ensuring hypotheses are systematically prioritized, executed, and translated into actionable learnings that influence future creative and product decisions.


Insights Systems & Feedback Loops
Build and operationalize insight loops (e.g. monthly and quarterly frameworks) that translate performance data into clear creative direction. Ensure learnings are consistently fed back into creative production, platform strategy, and campaign planning.


Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as a central connector across Marketing, Product, Analytics, and Tech, aligning stakeholders around a shared understanding of performance and priorities. Influence decision-making beyond marketing by highlighting opportunities in product, data, and experience.


Tooling & Innovation 
Lead the evaluation and implementation of tools (such as AI-driven creative analysis platforms) to scale insights and improve decision-making. Translate emerging capabilities into practical applications within creative workflows.


Standardisation & Capability Building
Define best practices, frameworks, and guidelines that enable teams to independently make better creative decisions. Upskill teams by making performance insights accessible, actionable, and embedded into daily workflows.


Key Skills & Qualifications 
- Strong ability to translate business goals into creative and content strategies
- Deep understanding of experimentation, analytics, and performance measurement
- Experience building frameworks, systems, or operating models (not just campaigns)
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- High level of strategic thinking combined with executional pragmatism

Performance Metrics 
- Adoption and effectiveness of creative performance frameworks across teams
- Measurable impact of testing and insight loops on business KPIs
- Reduction in ad-hoc analysis through implementation of scalable systems
