Business Card SME (card Issuing system)

emagine is looking for a Business Card SME for card Issuing system setup and configuration to one of our clients in Stockholm.

Start: 20th of August (6 months with possible extension)

Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

About the assignment:

We are seeking a mid/senior level hands-on card payments Subject Matter Expert to support card platform transformation.

The role focuses on product setup, functional requirements decomposition and testing, ensuring that card products and flows work correctly in the new platform. We are looking for a doer who works directly with systems, rules, and configurations in cooperation with the client team reporting to the project manager.

Profile of consultant

• Deep issuer-side card payments experience.

• Strong Payment scheme knowledge is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with modern cloud based card platforms, is preferred.

• Able to bridge business and implementation; collaborative, detail-oriented, pragmatic, and independent.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on configuration of card products, rules, limits, fees/interests, and lifecycle settings in the new card platform.

• Act as SME across issuing, authorization, clearing and settlement, disputes and chargebacks, and Visa scheme queries.

• Translate business requirements into functional requirements, configuration needs, and testable acceptance criteria.

• Align stakeholders when system capabilities differ from requirements.

• Contribute to UAT, scenario and use case design, and scheme-compliance validation.

• Support early functional testing and challenge solutions that conflict with scheme rules, product intent, or operations.
