Air Liquide Engineering & Construction - A technology partner of choice
Air Liquide Engineering & Construction builds the Group’s production units (mainly air gas separation and hydrogen production units) and provides external customers with efficient, sustainable, customized technology and process solutions. Our core expertise in industrial gas, energy conversion and gas purification, enables customers to optimize natural resources. We cover the entire project life-cycle: license engineering services / proprietary equipment, high-end engineering & design capabilities, project management & execution services. Our IT department is organized with teams spread across the world (USA, France, Germany, Poland, India, China), in order to support multi-center execution of Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) projects for our customers.
As the E&C business activities are re-centered in Europe and Asia, we are reinforcing the Global IT Competency Center in Krakow, Poland, articulated around three pillars: Software Development, Application Evolution and Infrastructure Support For the Infrastructure Support Team of Air Liquide Global E&C Solutions we are looking for:

Senior Specialist, IT Infrastructure (Citrix)
Location: Kraków, Poland
Key responsibilities:
- Managing the lifecycle of the E&C virtual desktop (Citrix) infrastructure on premise (in future, in AWS cloud)
- Participate in projects to set up, optimize and migrate virtual desktop infrastructure environments on premise and on AWS
- Coordination of selected IT infrastructure services delivered by internal and 3rd party service providers
Reporting line & localisation:
- the IT Specialist will report to Global E&C Solutions Director IT Infrastructure, Operations & Support.
- This role is located in Krakow - Poland.
Competencies and Profile:
- University degree (Information Technology) or equivalent experience,
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the following areas:
○ Citrix VDI○ AWS cloud
- Very good knowledge of Windows Servers technology,
- Experience in scripting (e.g. PowerShell, VB script etc.),
- Fluency in English,
- Well self-organized way of working
- Accuracy and precision,
- Team working skills.
