The Investor Experience Integrations team is responsible for building our critical capital partner integrations, as well as core services to automate funding processes safely and reliably. We are looking for a highly motivated Engineering Manager with a track record of leading and growing high performing engineering teams. In this role, you will own metrics around the speed Affirm is able to bring Funding transactions to market, and adherence to SLAs.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and grow an engineering team responsible for a mission critical part of Affirm’s foundation
- Partner directly with Capital Markets on managing a dynamic pipeline of new and ever-evolving transactions and funding strategies.
- Design and develop core services which will enable safe and auditable scaling of critical business processes.
- Build robust testing environments to continually evaluate performance and regression.
- Learn about structured finance including warehouse lending, forward flow, and ABS (Asset Backed Securitization).
- Automate away complexity and risk.
What We Look For
- Drive to change consumer financial services for the better.
- 4-6+ years of proven experience as a software engineer role with leadership responsibilities and 2+ years as an engineering manager
- Proven experience designing and building complex products.
- Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with deployment and automated testing frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with Python, Spark, React, AWS (EC2, ECS, S3), and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Prior experience with financial systems and capital markets is a plus.
