Database Administrator (MSSQL) – Remote

We are looking for a Database Administrator (MSSQL) to support and develop a multi-tenant SaaS HR platform operating on SQL Server 2019 Enterprise in a high-availability environment.
The role is hands-on and long-term, focused on database operations, performance, automation, and scalability.
Work model: fully remote.

Job responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor SQL Server clusters and AlwaysOn Availability Groups

• Perform day-to-day DBA activities (maintenance, schema changes, jobs, backups)

• Troubleshoot and optimize database performance

• Manage a large number of tenant databases (one DB per tenant)

• Develop and maintain T-SQL automation and operational tooling

• Support production and non-production environments

Expectations

• Solid experience as MS SQL Server DBA in high-availability setups

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server Enterprise Edition and AlwaysOn AGs

• Proven skills in performance tuning and capacity planning

• Very good understanding of backup and recovery strategies

• Experience with Windows Server administration

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• Ansible or other automation tools

• Experience with Nutanix or similar platforms

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL, GitLab CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes
