SAP Developer (ABAP + Fiori/UI5)

We are seeking a skilled SAP Developer with expertise in ABAP and Fiori/UI5 to join a significant transformation programme for a leading client in the transportation sector. The person in this role will be responsible for full-stack development of end-to-end SAP Fiori applications, encompassing both backend services and frontend user interface development. This position involves contributing to a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team engaged in complex integration and transformation activities across multiple project streams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP Fiori applications, including both backend ABAP services and frontend UI5 components.

• Design and implement ABAP Object-Oriented solutions, ABAP RESTful Application Programming model (RAP), CDS Views, and OData services.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support ongoing integration and transformation efforts in a large-scale S/4HANA environment.

• Provide continuous development support and issue resolution for multiple parallel project workstreams.

• Contribute to the establishment of a dedicated development and issue-resolution team to maintain the stability and performance of the SAP landscape.

• Engage proactively in problem-solving and quality assurance activities in collaboration with testing teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SAP development, with strong skills in ABAP OO, ABAP RAP, CDS Views, OData Services, SAP Fiori, and SAP UI5.

• Additional technical knowledge in Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, JavaScript, and SQL Script is advantageous.

• Experience working on large-scale SAP transformation projects, particularly involving S/4HANA implementations.

• Demonstrated ability to work across multiple SAP modules, with a focus on Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) functional areas.

• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is highly regarded.

• Nice to have: knowledge of additional tools and technologies such as HANA Calculation Views, Embedded Analytics, SAP Business Application Studio, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps, Jira, and SAP Solution Manager Focused Build is advantageous.
