SAP ABAP Developer (Integration)

We are seeking a skilled SAP Developer (Integration) to join a dedicated team supporting a large-scale S/4HANA transformation program for a prominent client in the transportation sector. The person in this role will be responsible for developing and maintaining technical integrations, scripting, and extensions within the SAP environment to ensure seamless operation across multiple applications and project streams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support SAP ABAP Objects, CDS Views, and SQL Script components to enable effective data integration and system extensions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve technical issues arising from multiple testing streams across the client’s SAP landscape.

• Implement and maintain integration solutions involving Java, JavaScript, and Python to complement SAP development efforts.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices within the transformation program.

• Participate in technical discussions and reviews to ensure alignment with project goals and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SAP technical development with expertise in ABAP Objects (ABAP OO), CDS Views, and SQL Script.

• Demonstrated ability to work on complex, large-scale SAP transformations, including end-to-end project implementation across multiple SAP modules.

• Additional development skills in Java, JavaScript, and Python are highly desirable.

• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is a strong advantage.

• Nice to have: knowledge of additional tools and technologies such as HANA Calculation Views, Embedded Analytics, SAP Business Application Studio, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps, Jira, and SAP Solution Manager Focused Build is advantageous.
