QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing automated test scripts for new and existing functionalities,

• Participating in the selection of automated test architecture for existing and new functionalities, ensuring high standards are maintained within the organization,

• Performing, checking results, and maintaining existing automated tests in various environments,

• Analyzing documentation for testing purposes,

• Creating reports on test activities performed,

• Reporting and analyzing detected defects,

• Performing manual tests of mobile and web applications or API tests,

• Introducing good practices related to testing and optimizing testing processes,

• Participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers, sharing knowledge and experience.

Requirements

• Many years of commercial experience as a developer or in testing applications with Web/Mobile/API test automation (optional),

• Very good knowledge of Java for creating test scripts and process automation,

• Ability to work with CI/CD tools: GitLab, JFrog Artifactory,

• Advanced knowledge of Git version control systems,

• Experience with Gradle tools,

• Practical knowledge of the software development process,

• Experience in a testing environment based on the Agile Scrum methodology,

• Ability to work with test support tools, e.g., Jira, TestFlo,

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-team environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience in building a testing platform,

• Knowledge of Jenkins, Maven,

• Knowledge or experience related to finance (knowledge of FX and trading platforms is welcome),

• Ability to work with Appium, Cucumber, Playwright,

• Practical knowledge of REST Assured, gRPC.
