Responsibilities

• Design, development and long-term maintenance of the CI/CD platform based on GitLab (Self-Managed / SaaS),

• Building, development and optimization of advanced GitLab CI/CD pipelines for multiple teams and technologies,

• Management of GitLab Runner infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, shell, autoscaling),

• Maintenance, optimization and cleaning of runners (cache, images, resources, costs),

• Designing CI/CD standards, pipeline templates and shared libraries,Automation of release processes, deployments and promotion of artifacts between environments,

• Maintenance and development of infrastructure for GitLab as Infrastructure as Code (Terraform),

• Integration of GitLab with artifact repositories (Artifactory),

• Monitoring, troubleshooting and ensuring high availability of the CI/CD platform,

• Support for development teams (backend / frontend) in the area of CI/CD and DevEx,

• Ensuring pipeline security (secrets, permissions, compliance).

Requirements

• Many years of practical experience with GitLab (administration, CI/CD, runners),

• Very good knowledge of GitLab CI/CD:

  • multi-stage pipelines,

  • includes, templates, rules, needs,

  • optimization of build time and costs,

• Experience in maintaining and scaling GitLab Runners (Docker / Kubernetes),

• Experience in automating infrastructure for GitLab using Terraform,Very good knowledge of Git and working with repositories,

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and basics of Kubernetes,

• Experience with Artifactory or other artifact managers,

• Ability to independently design and maintain the entire CI/CD platform end-to-end,

• Proactive approach to platform stability, performance and maintenance.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitLab Self-Managed (upgrades, backups, HA),

• Knowledge of Helm and ArgoCD,

• Experience with GitOps,

• Knowledge of Java / Kotlin / Angular / C++ (reading code, debugging pipelines),

• Experience in building self-service CI/CD for development teams.
