The XTB Technology and Product Department consists of several hundred specialists working in multidisciplinary product-engineering teams responsible for the key pillars of our investment application.

In this role, you will lead the Technology side of the Trading domain covering Stocks, CFDs, and Options - products used daily by clients across multiple markets and platforms - helping shape both the technical direction and delivery of our core trading capabilities.We organize delivery around product domains. The Stocks, CFDs, and Options domain is led on the product side by a Program Manager and on the technology side by an Engineering Teams Manager. As Engineering Teams Manager, you will combine hands-on technical leadership with proven people-management experience and will be accountable for execution across the domain by directly managing Engineering Team Leaders responsible for 7 cross-functional development teams (engineering, QA, DevOps/SRE, analysts, UX, and other specialties as applicable), ensuring consistent delivery, quality, reliability, and alignment with product priorities.

Responsibilities

• Managing the structure of 7 cross-functional development teams operating within Stocks, CFDs and Options domain. 

• Directly managing and supporting the development of Engineering Team Leaders leading teams,

• Effective allocation of technical work and product domains to enable parallel delivery of multiple objectives,

• Responsibility for the technical architecture of the entire area,Ensuring the quality of delivered solutions, their high performance, and low failure rate,

• Shaping the organization appropriately in terms of competencies and seniority of team members,

• Synchronizing technical activities within the area with the architecture team and other programs, including joint planning of technological solutions,

• Forward planning of technology goals - such as technical debt reduction and modernization - including defining success criteria and KPIs and participating in the planning process,

• Budgeting for technology solution costs.

Requirements

• Technical background as a Software Engineer, Architect, etc.,

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership role,

• Experience managing managers (manager of managers),

• Knowledge of scalability, performance, and system reliability,

• Experience working with microservices architecture,

• Experience delivering projects from architecture through to deployment,

• Ability to collaborate with multiple development teams in parallel.
