👉 Data Platform Architect

🟣 You will be:

• designing and delivering end-to-end solutions across real-time data streaming, data governance, and batch data processing,

• architecting scalable, reliable, and future-proof data solutions that connect seamlessly across the organization,

• working closely with engineering and product teams to build and evolve data capabilities on AWS, with strong integration to messaging architecture, schema management, and stream processing,

• applying broad knowledge of the data ecosystem—covering ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption layers—to guide technology choices and ensure cohesive platform design,

• balancing strategic vision with practical implementation, bridging the gap between architecture and delivery,

• promoting best practices in data governance, observability, and platform automation to ensure high standards of quality and maintainability.

🟣 Your profile:

• proven experience with streaming data technologies like Kafka, Flink,

• familiarity with modern table formats such as Apache Iceberg,

• solid understanding of Data Governance concepts, including Data Contracts, Data Cataloging, Lineage, and Data Quality,

• familiarity with Data Mesh concepts and experience working in decentralized data environments,

• experience designing scalable, AWS cloud-native data architectures,

• familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CDK),

• strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

🟣 Nice to have:

• hands-on experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow,

• experience in using dbt (data build tool),

• previous experience in a senior data engineering role is a plus.
